Headless WordPress Platform

Next.js + WordPress + WPGraphQL

A headless setup built for a fast, scalable, and SEO-friendly website.

Role: WordPress / Frontend Developer

Tech stack

  • WordPress
  • ACF
  • WPGraphQL
  • Next.js
  • React
  • Technical SEO

Challenge

  • Building a flexible content architecture that works well with a headless setup
  • Keeping content management convenient for editors while using a separate frontend
  • Improving performance and page delivery without losing scalability
  • Making the technical setup SEO-friendly and maintainable

Solution

I built a headless WordPress setup with Next.js as the frontend layer and WordPress as the content management system.

Content was structured to remain flexible and manageable, while the frontend was optimized for speed, rendering performance, and long-term scalability. The setup also supported a cleaner separation between content management and presentation.

Result

The result was a faster and more scalable website architecture with better flexibility for future development and a stronger technical foundation for SEO.
